Positioning the band on your arm:

1.  When using the Vinco CPAP arm band during the night, position it on your arm so that with your arm held out, palm up, the small loop going around the hose is positioned on top, at about the middle of the bicep muscle.

2.  Position the band on your arm so that the outside side of the overlapped portion is positioned away from you.  That way, if you lay on your side, you won't feel the edge of the band against your body.

Adjusting the small hose loop:

If you are using the smaller "travel size" hose, you can trim approximately 1/4 inch from the inside portion of the small loop that wraps around the hose. This will give it a tighter fit and prevent slippage of the hose during the night.

It's OK to use a hose wrap with the Vinco arm band.

Many people use the Vinco arm band in conjunction with a cloth hose wrap. They work great together for maximum comfort!

Extra arm bands come in handy!

1.  If you travel, buy an extra arm band to pack in your travel bag so that you're never without it!  Unlike most other products out there, the Vinco CPAP arm band weighs next to nothing and takes up almost no room in your travel bag or suitcase.

2.  If your CPAP machine has ever been pulled off the nightstand during the night, an extra arm band can actually prevent this from recurring.  Pulling the CPAP machine off the nightstand can certainly damageit, especially if you use water for humidification.  Wrap an extra Vinco arm band around your headboard post or nightstand leg at about the height of the mattress, if possible, depending on the style of your furniture.  Thread the hose through the smaller loop as usual as it travels toward your arm. Voila!  This second arm band then functions to secure your CPAP machine on the nightstand - it will not be pulled off the nightstand again!

Caring for the Vinco arm band: 

1.  Hand wash with a mild detergent or machine wash in cold water using the gentle cycle.  

2. Air drying in the flat position is best, but in a pinch it can be put in the dryer on a low setting.

3. Do not iron or dry clean.
